[EN] The beach of Foncillon is a sandy beach located in the commune of Royan in Charente-Maritime on the right bank of the estuary of the Gironde, in the immediate vicinity of the Atlantic Ocean.
It is located between the Pointe du Chay and the port of Royan opposite the Palais des Congrès.
The beach is classified in the third category "Beaches Surveillées", the Rescuers are present from the end of June to the beginning of September in continuous from 11H am to 7H pm.
