  Cette chapelle a été mentionnée en 1481 et citée pour la première fois en 1505.
Elle fut fermée sous la Révolution et réouverte au culte en 1804. Fortement endommagée pendant les bombardements de décembre 1944, elle fut à nouveau restaurée.
Lors des bombardements de décembre 1944, les 5 statues qu'elle abritait ont été mises à l'abri dans la "cave de l'Enfer" (cave Kuehn) et depuis exposées à la mairie. On y voyait saint Nicolas et saint Eloi à gauche, saint Roch et saint Guy à droite entourant une Piéta au centre.
Depuis 2014 une statue en bois de saint Eloi accompagne le grand crucifix et une statue de la Vierge dans la chapelle.
Les vitraux latéraux,oeuvre de Francis Chigot de Limoges, représentent à gauche St Martin, à droite St Eloi et une petite rosace au chœur.
L'ancienne cloche ayant été détruite, la section de Haute-Savoie de la Fédération Nationale des Combattants Prisonniers de Guerre en finança une nouvelle en 1950, placée sous le vocable de Marie, et réalisée par la fonderie Paccard d'Annecy-le-Vieux. La chapelle a été récemment restaurée par la Ville et par l'Association des Amis des chapelles St-Wendelin et St-Eloi.

It was closed during the Revolution and reopened to the cult in 1804. Strongly damaged during the bombings of December 1944, it was restored again.
During the bombings of December 1944, the five statues it sheltered were sheltered in the "cellar of Hell" (cellar Kuehn) and since then exposed to the town hall. There was Saint Nicolas and Saint Eloi on the left, Saint Roch and Saint Guy on the right, surrounding a Pieta in the center.
Since 2014 a wooden statue of Saint Eloi accompanies the great crucifix and a statue of the Virgin in the chapel.
The lateral stained glass windows, by Francis Chigot de Limoges, represent on the left St Martin, on the right St Eloi and a small rose window on the choir.
The old bell having been destroyed, the section of Haute-Savoie of the National Federation of War Prisoners of War financed a new one in 1950, under the name of Marie, and realized by the foundry Paccard of Annecy-le-Vieux . The waychapel was recently restored by the City and the Association of Friends of St-Wendelin and St-Eloi Chapels.
