EN: This simple stone cross with a metal Jesus figure stands in a small park south of the church of Oberwil. The foundation has en etched inscription: "The living are conscious that death will come to them. Ecclesiastes 9:5" The cross is not dated, according to its style it is probably from the late 20th century.
DE: Dieses einfache Steinkreuz mit einer metallenen Jesusfigur steht in einem kleinen Park südlich der Kirche von Oberwil. Auf dem Fundament ist eingemeisselt: "Die Lebenden wissen, dass sie sterben müssen. Pred. 9.5." Das Kreuz ist nicht datiert, dem Stil nach dürfte es aus dem späten 20. Jahrhundert stammen.
