This tree has almost completely eaten a sign belonging to a local fishing club.

The club has thoughtfully put up a new sign as a second course.
The tree is in a public park on the edge of Saltaire, a model village built by a benevolent mill owner.
The village is named after Sir Titus Salt, whereas Roberts Park is named after Sir James Roberts. He had purchased the land after Sir Titus Salt had died, and later in life he donated it to the town.
The River Aire separates Roberts Park from Saltaire and a green footbride provides access to the park.
A footpath leads from the park entrance around and under the bridge. The tree is then immediately next to the bridge.
