Juli:

development
In the summer of 2011 a Muslim burial ground was shown in the cemetery. The Remagen Town Council unanimously accepted an application made by Ali Tzinali and Antonio Lopez of the Advisory Council on Migration and Integration of the City of Remagen in 2010. The General-Anzeiger reported on July 5:
For a long time the Muslim city population had a great interest in a local burial. Many Muslims have been living in the Roman city for decades, have their foodstuffs and want to spend their evening in Remagen. As Antonio Lopez, a member of the council of the council, said, many Muslim fellow citizens felt the desire to be buried in their hometown of Remagen. Until now, Muslim burials had to take place in the Sinzig cemetery, since there has been a burial ground for Muslims since 2002. "At last there is reality, which would have to be self-evident," said a representative of the Turkish-Islamic Mosque
