This is one of twelve Weck's locations, all of them in New Mexico, and the location they had in Texas is sorely missed by their old customers there. Inside is the look of a classic 1950s diner, and you'll see all kinds of things pertaining to Elvis, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, you know the drill. They can be very busy here during peak hours, but a wait can be worth what awaits you (and you've got that free wifi as you wait).
That full belly tradition now comes into play, whether you order breakfast or lunch. They've got your standard breakfast fare like egg dishes, omelettes, pancakes, French toast, and since you're in the Southwest, items like huevos rancheros, chicken fried steak, and breakfast burritos. However, their signature item is papas, a mountain of hash browns smothered in cheese, two eggs, and chili, either red or green (you want the green). You'll be able to add a variety of things to your papas, like pollo, carnitas, or carne adovada.
If lunch is your preference, they've got a great selection of sandwiches, and their burgers are immense. Be sure to get green chile added for a taste of the Southwest. You can also choose from soups, salads, burritos, enchiladas, and chicken fried steak, and there are even some "healthy choices" and a few things for vegetarians. They also have a seniors menu.
There is no alcohol here, and your choices are coffee (with some flavored options), tea, milk, hot chocolate, juice, and soft drinks.
You have your pick of two SSIDs here, and the signal goes up and down for both. There aren't many places for you to recharge your gadgets, unfortunately.
