Czech Hiking Markers Standard is an international hiking markers system for tourist trails, used in a higher number of countries than any competing standard. This way of trail blazing is used throughout most of Central Europe, Balkans, Eastern Europe, Caucasus countries, with examples also in parts of Latin America and Asia.The first Czech hiking trails were marked by Mountain unit Radhost around 1884. The system has been used by the Czech Hiking Club since 1888. In addition to hiking trails are recently also marked trails for cyclists, skiers and horseback riders.
