L'arrivée de la source a été aménagée dans un réservoir surmonté d'un puits en pierres sèches.
L'eau pouvait y être puisée ou déversée pour les animaux.
Pour l'atteindre, partir de Geométhane et monter sur 1 km.
Devant le puits, un sentier permet d'atteindre le pigeonnier de Montaigu, seul vestige (restauré) du castrum
