The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox cemetery was established in 1951 on land acquired from the neighbouring Holy Trinity Bukowinian Orthodox Cemetery.
Although similar in location, and use of orthodox icons, the cemeteries are separate and distinct; each caters to its own parish.
Of note is a large granite orthodox cross, donated by parishioners and dedicated in 1973.
