The first interment in this old cemetery was in 1857. In 1863, Private Charles Edgerton was laid to rest after he died in the American Civil war in August. In December, Private Henry L. Edgerton joined his brother as he was killed in action as well. This cemetery has seen over 750 more burials and still serves the community of LaGrange Township today. It is in the top and side of a large hill and the expanse of the cemetery itself is surprising. Parking on the side of the road is available, tougher in the winter. USGenWeb - ( visit link)
