Erbaut 1648, galt Sie damals als Verbindung des Burgfleckens mit dem angrenzenden Wald.
Nach Zerstörung durch ein Hochwasser 1681 wurde die Brücke 1825 neu errichtet. In den letzten Kriegstagen 1945 wurden die Brückenbögen gesprengt um den Vormarsch der Alliierten Truppen aufzuhalten.
Der Wiederaufbau erfolgte 1949 entsprechend der hidtorischen Form. Heute dient die Steinbrücke als Verbindung zum Wohngebiet "Am Brückenstein" und zu einem attraktiven Wanderwegenetz.

Built in 1648, you used to be a connection between the castle and the surrounding forest.
After being destroyed by a flood in 1681, the bridge was rebuilt in 1825. In the last days of the war in 1945, the bridge arches were blown to stop the Allied troops.
The reconstruction took place in 1949 according to the Hidtorian form. Today, the stone bridge serves as a connection to the residential area "Am Brückenstein" and to an attractive hiking trail network.
