This veterans memorial consists of a monument dedicated to soldiers and sailors who died in service to their country and are buried in unknown graves plus a flagpole that is dedicated to all men and women who served in the armed forces.
The monument, erected by the Strong Vincent Relief Corps Auxiliary to the G.A.R in 1907, is inscribed: "In memory of the soldiers & sailors who gave their lives for their country and rest in unknown graves"
The flagpole, which was provided by the American Legion Post 771 on July 4, 2009, has a plaque that is inscribed with: "Dedicated to all men and women who served in the Armed Forces of the United States. God Bless America"
