[FR] De la famille famille des Taxodiaceae, cet arbre est toujours vert. Originaire de Californie, ce spécimen a été planté dans ce jardin en 1850.
Arbre de très grande taille à port conique, son écorce rouge orangée est épaisse crevassée et fibreuse, il est plus élancé que le séquoia géant.
Le plus grand spécimen est en Amérique du nord dans le parc de Redwood.
[EN]Of the family family of Taxodiaceae, this tree is always green. Native of California, this specimen was crashed in this garden in 1850.
Very tall tree with conical bearing, its orangy red bark is thick cracked and fibrous, is more hurt than the giant sequoia.
The biggest specimen is in North America in the park of Redwood.
