The theme for the tree is "The Two Sides of Freedom" carved in a hollow oak tree that was damaged in the ice storm of 2007.
From the back side of the tree, you see two children playing, the American flag and the eagle -- symbols of what we enjoy as our freedoms.
On the front of the tree is a soldier with a gun in hand, each medal of honor that can be awarded, a folded flag given to a deceased soldier's family.
In the hollow portion of the tree is the battle field cross.
