Bienvenue à l'île du Marais
Le Regroupement pour la préservation de l'île et du marais de Katevale (L'île du marais) inc. est un organisme de conservation à but non lucratif fondé en 1984. Notre mission est de préserver les milieux naturels du Lac Magog et notamment ses milieux humides.
Située à l'extrême sud du Lac Magog, l'île du Marais est au centre d'un milieu humide de plus de 65 hectares. Quatre kilomètres de sentiers parcourent le site et vous donnent un accès privilégié au coeur de cet écosystème.
La faune et la flore sont abondantes à l'île du Marais et représentent un attrait incontournable. Plus de 190 espèces d'oiseaux y ont été observés! De nombreuses espèces de plantes, d'amphibiens et de reptiles sont également présents sur le site.
