In 1857, this cemetery plot was established by the interring Zenus Turner Manley on May 28th. Zenus was born in 1792 in Connecticut. Eventually the plot was contained on land owned by the Boynton family and was thus used by the family to bury many of their members. Though only 16 interments are recorded, the site holds many unreadable stones which were counted up to 40. The cemetery went into disrepair after the last known burial in 1946. Recently a restoration project cleaned up the inactive cemetery and it's very accessible to the public today.
