The first grave was laid in September of 1856. From them on over 460 more graves have been added to the site. Today it is still in use. You are not allowed to drive in this cemetery to visit. There is parking next to Wisconsin Highway 71. There are two stones marked with just a last name and the first name of 'unknown'. The cemetery is bordered with a chain link fence.
