Part of the original White trig mast is still here in the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park; with a rock cairn. No track, so be sure you can navigate. Official Code: TS4745; Elevation: 202 metres.

Drive out to the end of Booralie Road, and instead of going straight ahead on Booralie Trail, walk up Curramine Trail - in a NE direction, until you get to a 'saddle' beside the Private Property on your right.
Then it is just a matter of following animal trails along the ridge top to a 'dismantled' stone cairn, that has a shortened trig post sticking up. The unpainted semi-circular vanes look to be original. There is the occasional white reflective marker nailed to trees along the way.
I think that this showed on the 1st edition Hornsby map, but it is not shown on the 2nd. Now we are on the 3rd edition, so I'm not sure if it is currently represented with a spot height.

BTW, on (visit link) it is rated as Terrain 4, tho more realistically it is a T3. Navigational skills necessary.
