The "Baseballstadion Rheinaue" - the Baseball Stadium of the Bonn Capitals - is located in the Rheinaue leisure park. A total of eleven teams of the Caps practice and play on four playing fields - "the shamrock". In addition to two large squares for the men's teams, the players can use a students' field and a softball field.

The Bonn Capitals were founded in 1989. They are among the top baseball clubs of Germany. In currently 10 teams, pupils, young people, women and men from can be aktive - from the "funteam" up to the highest performance level of the "1. Bundesliga". The Bonn Capitals currently have 225 members playing in 10 teams in their respective leagues:
