Sam's Town by The Killers - Las Vegas, NV - Immortalized in Lyrics on Waymarking.com

Sam's Town is immortalized in a song of the same name by the group The Killers. Published in 2006, the song and album of the same name was arguably the band's most successful to date. In honor of its success, the band hosted a 10 year celebration in October, 2016 in Sam's Town's hotel ballroom, in front over over 1,700 fans.

Sam's Town is a western-themed hotel and casino located in Las Vegas, NV, at the corner of Flamingo Road and the Boulder Highway. It is named after Sam Boyd, of Boyd Gaming fame. It was one of the first area-hotels to cater to the local area population.

Constructed in 1979, the hotel property has expended several times over the years to include a bingo parlor, poker room, RV park, and a large indoor greenery called Mystic Falls. This area puts on daily light and water shows at various times, and is free to watch.
