Built for Charles W. Clark and Albert O. Tuhus in 1912, this building became a very early Buick dealership. By 1919 Mr. Clark had bought out his partner and became sole owner. Early in 1919 Mr. Clark built a new, larger building separate but next door to this one. By the end of 1919, the two buildings were joined internally. Both buildings were being used as a car dealership up until at least 2003 when the district was added to the NRHP. Today the building is being used as retail space.
