This is a wooden church, with a small covered entry on the Oxley Highway side. There is a low brick fence on the road side, which has a herring-bone pattern. When visited in 2014 the low simple wrought iron gate was tied closed.
There are a couple of headstones at the back of the church.
The turn-off for the church (Yarrowitch Church Road) is beside the local Telstra Payphone, at S31º 13.970' E151º 55.720' about 200 metres, to the south (Wauchope side) of the church.
There is white marble plaque on the low brick fence gate at the front of the Church, which reads:
Glory to God
Erected
In Memory of
late
Dave Arnold Cross
Accidently (sic) killed
8th Feb 1957

The population at the 2011 census was a total of 167.
One of Australia's early explorers, John Oxley, navigated his expedition of 1818 through this area, and camped near here while trying to find a suitable route to the Great Dividing Range.
No information found on the denomination of the church, but probably 'Church of England'/Anglican.
