The Edgemont Christians Church was founded in the early 1800’s with the congregation first meeting in a log building. Over the years the congregations grew and the current building was dedicated in 1883. There is a small cemetery located adjacent to the church with the earliest graves dating back to the mid-1800’s. The Edgemont Christian Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 and is still home to a very active congregation.
