1934/01/01 by CGS (FIRST OBSERVED) DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1934 (CIA) POINT OBSERVED UPON IS FINIAL OF MUNICIPAL WATER TANK, APPROXIMATELY 125 FEET HIGH, LOCATED IN WHITE LAKE. OBSERVED FROM STATION EAGLE.

The cylindrical tank is of steel, and is supported by four trusswork legs. The standpipe is 3 feet in diameter. The tank is painted white with a dark band at the top and bottom. The dark letters "White Lake" are painted on the side of the tank. The handrail, conical top and hemispherical bottom are painted silver.
