"Visitors to Ithaca's Waterfront will find playgrounds, picnicking, boating, summer theater, birding, and gardens along the Cayuga Waterfront Trail, a great multi-use path for walking, biking, running, skating, and strolling. There are also quiet places to relax and take in the views. Look for ducks, dragon boats, and sailors on the water; baseball, soccer, or hockey in the popular parks; and two venerable academic institutions on the surrounding hills. "
"The most recent paved connector between Cass Park to the Farmers Market provides easy access to Puddledockers kayak rental and Inlet Island attractions. The Crew Crow Overlook is a peacful place to walk or sit and enjoy the stunning view of the Cayuga Inlet or the Ithaca College and Cornell University boathouses. This area of the waterfront is one that many have never been able to enjoy before. "
