EN: This white stone cross with a black metal figure stands in Neu-Nuglar on the road to Liestal. The cross is dated 1854 twice, and was donated by someone named Salatin. The cross is not, as usual, horizontal to the road, but is, on the border of the traditionally Catholic canton Solothurn, oriented to the traditionally reformed Basel-Land.
The cross is in excellent condition and has been recently renovated.
DE: Dieses weisse Steinkreuz mit einer schwarzen Metallfigur steht bei Neu-Nuglar an der Strasse nach Liestal. Das Kreuz ist gleich zweimal mit 1854 datiert und wurde von jemandem namens Salatin gestiftet. Das Kreuz steht nicht, wie üblich, waagrecht zur Strasse, sondern ist an der Grenze des traditionell katholischen Solothurns auf das traditionell reformierte Basel-Land ausgerichtet.
Das Kreuz ist in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand und wurde erst kürzlich renoviert.
