The Frank Tutungi Memorial Lions Park is named after one of the Blackwater Lions Charter Members, who was also the first Blackwater Lion to become a District Governor.

The park is renowned for the large continuous display of nations flags surrounding it. Each flag is representative of the 37 different nationalities who laboured together to establish the town and the district's coal industry.

The park has a children's playground, static steam train, undercover picnic tables & picnic shed, amenities, shady trees & open space.
