I drove up Pythonwood Road to a 'Bed & Breakfast', where I asked the owner about the trigonometric station at the top of the nearby hill.
She mentioned that she knew about the 'navigation beacon' (sic).
She suggested that I take some water, which was my plan, and asked that I let her know when I returned.
A dog followed me for a short distance, up a rutted track, that a 4wd might be able to take, but a T2½/3 walk is all that is required.
Don't expect great views, as this hasn't been used for quite a while.
