Er beinhaltet zudem ein Kinderfach, welches von "Der kleine Laden" unterstützt wird, einem Kinder- und Jugendbuch-Geschäft auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite. Die Bauweise des Schranks entspricht der in Bonn üblichen Stahl-/Glas-Konstruktion.

The free community book exchange cabinet is located at Budapester Straße 4 in front of the entrance "Haus der Stiftungen" at the Sparkasse-building. It is run by the Bürgerstiftung Bonn, which is an initiative of the bank Sparkasse. Furthermore, it includes a children's shelf, which is supported by "Der kleine Laden", a children's and youth's book store just across the street. The construction of the cabinet is made from steel and glass, which is quite popular for these cabinets in Bonn.
