[DE] Das Gebäude der Post in Anhalt-Dessau wurde von 1899 - 1901 nach den Plänen von dem Oberpostrat Hake im neugotischen Stil gebaut. Auch dieses Gebäude wurde im zweiten Weltkrieg stark in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. In der DDR-Zeit mangelte es vorwiegend an Baumaterial. Daher wurde das Gebäude in einer veränderten Form wieder aufgebaut. Erhalten blieben auch die 3 verschidenen Tiere, die das Dach schmücken. Dabei handelt es sich um Füchse, Adler und Seepferde.
Seit der Fertigstellung ist hier die Post untergebracht. Somit ist dieses Gebäude eines der wenigen, das sich in der Nutzung nicht geändert hat.
