This lion chimera stands at the apex of the interesting and elegant arch is composed of wrought iron and gilt elements, framing the historic entry into St John Zachary Church, which was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666 and not rebuilt.

The arch is located across the street from the Wax Candlers Hall at 6 Gresham Road in the City of London.
