In honor of the men and women who served at the Sampson Naval Training Station, Route 96A, Sampson, New York During its operation from 1942 to 1946.
Dedicated this 10th day of September 1988 by the Waterloo VFW Post #6433.
Anchor recovered from the depths of Seneca Lake on 8-18-87 by the Seneca County Sheriff's Department Scuba Team.
