Soldiers Point is one of the major boat ramps for the Nelson Bay/Port Stephens region. It is at the end of Mitchell Street, just north of the Soldiers Point Marina.

There are two wide concreted ramps, from a large turning area at the western end of Mitchell Street.
There are also two 'pontoon style' wooden jetties that are alongside the ramps.
As this is an entry to the Port Stephens Marine Park, there are rules that apply for powered boats and other craft. Please check out the appropriate signs.
There is another boat ramp for Soldiers Point, and it is off Seaview Crescent, near the Port Stephens Sailing and Aquatic Club. It faces east towards the 'heads' of Port Stephen.
