"Mrs. Oltz was a 1962 graduate of Elmira College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She had been employed by the American Legion and had sold Avon for many years. Prior to that, she had been employed at DeWitt Middle School in the audio/visual department. She was a 43 year member of the American Legion Post #221 Auxiliary, where she had previously been past president and was the treasurer for all Tompkins County Legion posts. "
