[EN] The 2,717 m high Serles, called by Goethe the High Altar of the Alps, is one of the most popular recreation areas near Innsbruck. The mountain railway at the entrance of the Stubaital brings vacationers and locals in Mieders comfortably uphill for relaxing hours in nature. The offer of sports and leisure activity is great: hiking, biking and the summer tobogganing downhill or skiing, tobogganing and snowshoe hiking allow for a few hours in the Tyrolean mountains. Or you can simply enjoy the wonderful view to Innsbruck and the Karwendel Mountains by sunbathing on the rustic pastures and huts.
