Vela Draga is geological natural monument in Istria, Croatia. It is located on north-west side of Ucka Mountain and it is part of Ucka Nature Park. It is considered as one of the most beautiful and unique geological and geomorphological phenomenons in Croatia. It was formed by actions of water torrents on limestone.
The Vela Draga canyon valley extends to about 3500 meters. Upper part of canyon is wide about 450 meters, and lower, narrower part is wide about 150 meters. There are numerous pointed rocks and rock towers within Vela Draga and their height is between 50 and 90 meters.
There is nice geological educational path within Vela Draga.
