The Zoo animal collection includes: Lions, Eastern Black Rhinos,
Bactrian Camel, Bongo, Fossa, Lemurs, Meerkats, & the only Giraffes in Wales. The Zoo is a member of EAZA and BIAZA taking part in a European breeding program for Eastern Black Rhinos, which are listed as critically endangered animals according to the IUCN red list.

At Folly Farm zoo, you’ll see the only giraffes in Wales, and can look them straight in the eye from the Giraffe Heights walkway. And we’re one of only six zoos in the UK that cares for the critically endangered Eastern black rhino.
