The museum is a complete reconstruction of the Fort on the Saskatchewan which housed North West Mounted Police 1875-85. Admission also includes the Historic Village (1902 to the late 1920s), and the Warden’s Residence (1937).

All in all, the experience gives visitors a complete perspective of what life in Fort Saskatchewan was like over a 60 year period - the earliest days of the community.
