This single arch bridge carries a minor road over Ram's Brook.

The road connects the town of Widnes and the village of Hale, and the brook forms part of a low lying marsh area, hence its name.

The bridge has simple sandstone parapets on either side of the road. Just to the south of here Ram's brook drains into the estuary of the much larger River Mersey.
