To duty as they understood it
These men suffered all,
Sacrificed all,
Dared all and died

Proper Description: Confederate soldier garbed in the traditional Georgia Infantry Uniform, standing with both hands firmly grasping the musket barrel. The musket is an older version of un-rifled muzzle loader, common during the Civil War. His uniform is a pair of ankle high boots, trousers, blouse-jacket, pulled back on his right side to allow access to ammo and grub pouch hanging from a strip draped over his left shoulder.
