Manned counter in large Welcome Center building. Historic markers inside, and a diorama of a Civil War battle.
Tennessee has both rest areas and Welcome Centers. The distinguish the difference by having guides on hand to man the counters to ask questions and request you sign the guest book to account for number of travelers using their services.
