Lucille Ball's hometown has a museum and annual festival devoted to the comedian/actress, but its most visible tributes are a series of large murals painted by the father-son team of Gary Peters and Gary Peters Jr. Each mural recalls a moment from an episode of the I Love Lucy TV series. The fifth mural, and first in color, was unveiled on October 15, 2012, the 61st anniversary of the first broadcast of I Love Lucy. It's the World's Largest I Love Lucy Mural, an image from the episode, "California, Here We Come," of Lucy, Ethel, Desi, and Fred singing as they drive across the George Washington Bridge on their way out of New York City.
