At the garden of the city hall in Konstanz, Germany, Baden-Württemberg exists a statue of a hunting dog which has been a present from the sister city Fontanebleau in France in 2010.
The dog is called 'Bello'. It was a donation in 2010 by the sister city Fontanebleau in France for the 50th anniversary of partnership.
The statue consists of bronze and is created life-sized.
It's a replica of an old dog statue of the lost 'Diana Fountain' created in 1603 by the artist Pierre Biard.
The type of dog is not known.
There's also a small plaque which tells some details.
Text of plaque:
'Fontainebleau hat als Zeichen seiner Treue und Freunschaft, seiner Schwesterstadt Konstanz zum 50-jährigen Bestehen der "Jumelage" Bello geschenkt.
