Bushland and a trig point right in the middle of a suburb? I love Hobart. . .

The short steep walk up Natone Hill, on Hobart's eastern shore, rewards you with decent views of the Derwent River, Tasman Bridge, Domain, etc. Apparently in years gone by, the trees at the top of the hill were cleared to offer views for defensive purposes (there are also remanents of 'bunkers'!), however the bush is winning and views are interrupted but nice.
Not being born in Hobart, I'm constantly impressed by how easy it is to get out and have a walk in the bush.
