"The Etobicoke Olympium is a multi-use facility that focuses on meeting the sport and recreation needs of the community, as well as developing and promoting amateur competitive sports. The Olympium's programs and services range from multi-tank pool operations with dive towers, to gym activities and rentals. The Etobicoke Olympium has the ability to host national and international events in a range of sports.
As a 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games aquatics training venue (for swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming and diving), the Etobicoke Olympium has undergone renovations. Improvements include: a new competition pool and upgraded dive tower, improved mechanical, electrical and filtration systems, improved lighting (in selected areas), audio systems and shower facilities, new bleachers and redesigned lobby and administrative areas.
The fitness centre has also been fully renovated and features a new mondo walking/jogging track, new sprung wood gym floor, fresh paint and new entry lighting, a new rubber floor for the weight room, accessible doors, updated change rooms and more!
The Olympium is home to many sports clubs (e.g. competitive swimming, synchronized swimming, water polo and diving) for youth as well as adults. The Patio Pool provides programming for the community through a large and varied learn to swim program, aquafit program, extensive leadership program and leisure/adult swimming." (
