This barn and two associated outbuildings are an interesting example of dairy farming as it was in Ontario in the mid-20th century. The boards are weathered but some hints of the bright red that it used to be are still visible.

This barn and two associated outbuildings are an interesting example of dairy farming as it was in Ontario in the mid-20th century. The boards are weathered but some hints of the bright red that it used to be are still visible.
The windward side of the large barn is now metal clad - likely because this side takes the brunt of precipitation that falls here.
The hay loft is essentially level with the ground (small ramp) and the milking would be done below.
