The Marche Republique is a modern markethall, which was opened on 10.06.2012. With a size of about 700 m² it offers space and facilities to the local farmers, fishers, and producers to sell their goods to the public. These goods include fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, pastries, and flowers.
Market times are every morning from 7:00 to 13:00 except Mondays from 01.10. to 30.04.
On the ground of the markethall there was the town square "Place de la République" until the early 20th century. It was the place, where all festivities of the small fishing town took place.
