Op zaterdag 11 juni opende Dilia Blok, bestuurslid Groenalliantie Midden-Holland, geheel in stijl een Idylle en een insectenhotel in het Loetbos in Lekkerkerk. Het zijn 36 grote vakken, op zich al een hele klus, met diverse soorten materiaal als bamboe, riet, houtblokken, stro, hooi, boomschors en dennenappels, dakpannen met daartussen leem en bakstenen met leem.
Idylle Loetbos is een initiatief van Natuur- en Vogelwerkgroep Krimpenerwaard (NVWK) en wordt onderhouden door de vrijwilligers van de NVWK. Groenalliantie Midden-Holland heeft als beheerder van het Loetbos 8.000 m2 grond beschikbaar gesteld, dat met een speciaal bloemrijk zaadmengsel is ingezaaid. Het mengsel is samengesteld op de huidige vlinders die in het Loetbos voorkomen en op vlinders die graag worden teruggezien. Diverse bijensoorten profiteren straks ook van deze nectarbronnen. Dit eerste voorjaar zijn de percelen voorzien van vele soorten bloemen waardoor de bloemenweide al de nodige vorm heeft, maar de rijke bloei van meerjarige soorten wordt pas de komende jaren verwacht. Het maaien van de Idylle is maatwerk om de ingezaaide soorten in stand te houden. Voor het beheer van de Idylle kon de NVWK een speciale maaitrekker aanschaffen, dankzij een toezegging van het Streekfonds Krimpenerwaard.

On Saturday 11 June opened Dilia block, Board member of the Green Alliance, a Midden-Holland Idyll and a bug in the Loetbos hotel in lekkerkerk. The are 36 large boxes, in itself a chore, with various kinds of material like bamboo, Reed, hay, straw, wood blocks, tree bark and pine cones, with in between clay and bricks with clay roof tiles.
Idyll is an initiative of Nature and bird working group Krimpenerwaard (NVWK) and is maintained by the volunteers of the NVWK. Green Alliance Midden-Holland has as an administrator of the Loetbos 8,000 m2 of land made available, that with a special flowered seed mixture is sown. The mixture is generated on the current butterflies that occur in the Loetbos and on butterflies who like to be seen again. Various bee species will be able to take advantage of this nectar sources. This first spring are the plots equipped with many kinds of flowers which the flower meadow has all the necessary form, but the rich flowering of perennial types is only expected in the coming years. Mowing the Idyll is tailor-made to the sown species. For the management of the Idyll could purchase the NVWK a special mower tractor, thanks to a commitment of the streekfonds Krimpenerwaard.
