The market fountain of 1595 shows St. Peter, patron saint of both the cathedral and the city, on top. He is surrounded by the four cardinals of the good city regiment, justice, strength, moderation and prudence (originals in the town museum Simeonstift), but also small monkeys and mischievous monkeys.
