In 1940-1941, the state of Wisconsin expanded Highway 21 to pass by Fort McCoy and connect Sparta and Tunnel City. This particular stretch in Angelo is considered part of the old highway. It's unsure when this bridge was made as it does not have a plate or date, still it has this disk which has visible ware, but is still very readable. To get to the disk park on the side of Old Highway 21 and walk to the North side of the road. The disk is on the West side of the bridge under the guard rail.
